About

Dr. Wind’s interest in health began in her childhood when she noticed how lifestyle affected the health of people in her family and community. This led her down the path of studying nutrition in college and becoming a registered dietitian with a strong belief that food was medicine. After a while she felt that her practice needed to include physical fitness, so Liz expanded her practice to include physical conditioning. Liz never rested on her laurels and she knew that she needed to supplement her skill set with a general health education approach. She broadened her knowledge base by receiving a doctorate in health education, which she used to enrich her practice. Realizing the impact that stress had on many of her clients she branched out into the areas of mindfulness and meditation and stress management. Over many years Liz formulated a toolkit which included all of these aspects of health and wellbeing to give to her clients, while always being attentive to their individual needs.

Liz has always worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings, including academic, corporate and nonprofit institutions. She has been an educator, facilitator and private practice practitioner for over 30 years. Liz brings expertise, enthusiasm and passion to all of her projects. She offers her clients professionalism with a multifaceted approach to wellbeing.
